We are always happy to discuss options with you to determine how to best enhance a room.  The dining room project shown above was added mid-painting of an entire home.  The homeowners have an open concept style home and thought that it would be nicer if they gave their horseshoe shaped dinng room cove its own unique treatment.  We think it looks great and it highlights both the definition provided by the white chair rail and framing and also the popular trend toward gray/taupe walls (and away from the more ubiquitous beige).

Other customers who have had a chair rail and framing installed have chosen to paint the walls in different ways.  On option is to have just the chair rail and frames painted white (usually semi-gloss) with the background walls the same color as above the chair rail.  Another idea has been to paint the chair rail and frames white and then use the color from above the chair rail to fill inside the frames.  A third idea has been to paint inside the chair rail with a slightly darker shade than used above.
